The Business Factory Auto (BFA) has just presented its seventh edition at an event held on May 3 at the Attica21 hotel in Vigo, attended by more than 100 people.

The Business Factory Auto (BFA) has become a fundamental lever for transforming the Galician automotive industry, helping to generate talent and innovation in our Community.

Yesterday, a networking day was held at the facilities of the business center of Porto do Molle (Nigrán), where the projects of the sixth edition of the BFA were presented.

In order to support the development of the participating projects, the Business Factory Auto has signed a collaboration agreement with MathWorks and becomes part of its Accelerators Program, joining the more than 200 entities of everyone who is already part of it.

The Business Factory Auto (BFA) participated on the 17th, in Copenhagen, in the final gala for the Global Startup Awards as a nominee in the “Best Accelerator” category.

The Business Factory Auto has been recognized, in the category of best accelerator, in the 2020 South Europe Startup Awards, one of the most prestigious entrepreneurship competitions in the world. This award recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit, the capacity for disruptive innovation, the cohesion of the ecosystem and collaboration for the benefit of the economic growth in the BFA environment.

A new edition of the Business Factory Auto (BFA) initiative is already underway, which started its fifth promotion yesterday with an opening day, where the 20 new selected projects participated.

The Executive Committee of the Business Factory Auto (BFA) has selected the 20 new business projects invited to participate in the fifth edition of the initiative, which will begin their journey at the accelerator in mid-December.

The fifth edition of the Business Factory Auto once again breaks the participation record, since 127 projects from 20 different countries, belonging to the five continents, have been submitted to this new call, interested in being part of the accelerator. All of them related to digital transformation and Industry 4.0.

From today until October 2nd, the deadline for presenting an innovative project to the fifth edition of the Business Factory Auto (BFA) initiative is open, both to the acceleration and consolidation phases for projects with a higher degree of maturity.

The project participating in the fourth edition of the BFA, VAX3D, develops a virtual, augmented and mixed reality device, automatically convertible with hardware for sensorization and pre-programmed software, in which the smartphone acts as an image projector.

The Unimate Flexible Mobile Robot project, participant in the fourth edition of the BFA, works on a solution that combines collaborative robotics with a vision system and the technology of AGVs, to be able to move autonomously.

The SGS company, participant in the consolidation phase of the fourth edition of the BFA, works on a platform for the electric vehicle that integrates a distributed frame, which allows improving current standards of safety, cooling, lightness and comfort. This is the SGS system (Safety General Structure).

Mobocen, a company participating in the fourth edition of the BFA, works on a real-time monitoring system for hydraulic pumps to increase the useful life and decrease the maintenance cost.

The Inmake Integra Additive Lean Manufacturing project, participating in the consolidation phase of the fourth edition of the BFA, develops an online platform that offers a comprehensive service for the entire manufacturing process of prototypes, tools or series through additive manufacturing.

The DTView 3D project, participating in the consolidation phase of the fourth edition of the BFA, works on virtual, augmented and mixed reality glasses, to see the interior of machines, processes, designs or factories with a high level of detail.

The Rdc works - Design to print project, participating in the acceleration phase of the fourth edition of the BFA, works on a methodology that optimizes, from an industrial point of view, the design phase for the printing of 3D FDM (Fused Depositing Modeling) parts.

New video to get to know Nort3D PGS better, a project participating in the acceleration phase of the fourth edition of the BFA, which works on a multi-purpose claw system for the movement of multi-material parts, adaptable to both handling lines and logistics warehouses for loading and unloading.
