The Booster Day, a great opportunity for BFA companies

Last September 20th, the companies Ingenierķa y Control Merasys and Situm Technologies, accompanied by representatives of the Business Factory Auto (BFA) initiative, participated in the Booster Day of the PSA Group, held at the Armand Peugeot Forum in Poissy.

Booster Day is a major event organised by Groupe PSA on Factory of the Future, to accelerate the developement of innovations in manufacturing. This event will involve 500 PSA technicians and more than 50 suppliers and partners, will be presented several technology demonstrators, conferences, collaborative research projects and startups.

Attendees highlighted the two companies participating in the first edition of the Business Factory Auto (BFA), Ingenierķa y Control Merasys and Situm Technologies, which had the opportunity to meet different experts and enter inside the innovation ecosystem of the automotive Group, as well as make a presentation of the project and have their own stand to exhibit its innovative solutions.

For Ingenierķa y Control Merasys having the opportunity to participate in the Booster Day has meant "giving visibility to our technologies and products in PSA plants in which we are not present. On the other hand, it has allowed us, in a single day, to hold meetings with plant managers, industrialists, metier, etc. which otherwise would be very difficult to articulate".

Also for Situm Technologies this initiative has been a great opportunity, since "it has allowed us to show our product to representatives and technical staff of the Group factories around the world. The solution that we propose in Situm, to optimize the logistics in the factories thanks to the location and monitoring of personnel and key elements (AGVs, logistic trains ...), would have been presented, in other circumstances, almost factory by factory. In this way, however, and thanks to the work developed with the BFA, we have accessed a much wider PSA audience in a single day".
